MAGDA fuse punk, post-rock, garage rock, and noise into a sound that defies easy categorisation. Described as “uncompromising, raw and chaotic post-punk” (Left of the Dial Festival Rotterdam 2025), the band draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of artists, including Pixies, Mount Kimbie, and OVLOV.
Their debut EP ‘Hole Punched in Cloud’ quickly earned them a cult following and critical attention, including airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music’s New Music Fix.
